Schedule Your Meeting

Aside from securing your room, one of your most important responsibilities is scheduling meetings with your Senators and Representatives.

The quickest and easiest way to schedule your meetings is to use the Find Your Legislator tool below to determine who your elected officials are. Through this tool, you can contact the Senator or Representative of your choice – either by email or by phone.

If you’re calling your elected officials, ask to speak to the scheduler, explain to him/her that you are a constituent and that you are calling to request a meeting with that member on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Be prepared to explain that the reason for the meeting request is to share with him/her your students’ and school’s priorities for the inclusion in the pending re-authorization of the Higher Education Act.

After you have scheduled your meetings, the GRC requests that you provide us with your list of Hill meetings by Tuesday, March 21, 2017 so that we can make sure that we have the necessary packets of information to supplement your own information for the meeting.
