Adam P. Nelson
Adam serves as AACS’ Executive Director. He come to AACS with nearly 20 years of nonprofit and corporate experience in developing and executing award-winning public affairs campaigns in diverse industries such as energy, healthcare, and marketing. His background also includes the knowledge essential to association management. In 2003, he became a Certified Association Executive (CAE: 2003-2009), awarded by the American Society of Association Executives. Adam lives in the Washington, DC metro area with his wife Kristen and two young daughters.
Lisa Zarda, CAE, CNAP
Lisa Zarda is the General Manager for AACS. She has been an association professional since 1999, improving productivity, increasing revenue and developing member services for regional and national associations. She has B.A. in Exercise and Sports Science, has been a Certified Association Executive (CAE) since 2009 and a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) since 2014. She lives and tries to stay cool in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and two beautiful children, but is a Midwest girl at heart.

Linda Williams is the Membership Manager for AACS and has responsibility for development, management and implementation of strategy, programs and activities designed to increase and retain membership in the association. She is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management and holds an Arizona Cosmetology License. As an accomplished hospitality Sales/Management professional and previous salon owner she contributes creative new business development approaches, personalized member experiences and extensive event planning. Originally from Massachusetts but has lived in Arizona for 14 years, a yogi at heart, loves live music, her husband Billy, her son Tate and her dog Ryder.

Keira Orrala is the bookkeeper for AACS. She is responsible for keeping the association’s books up to date and accurate. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and has a diverse background including experience in the non-profit sector. She traded the beach for the desert by moving from northern California to Scottsdale, AZ where she has lived for 8 years with her husband and beautiful little boy. When the weather is cool she enjoys gardening and taking long walks with her family and their mini schnauzer, Jackson.
