Hotel Accommodations: Event Room Rate is $249.00 per night (single or double). Please book your rooms online through the AACS Event portal or contact the hotel directly at 202.234.0700. Please make sure you mention you are a part of AACS so you reflect on our room block. Deadline for the AACS Room Rate is March 8, 2018.

Who attends: School Owners, Management, Directors and Compliance/Policy Directors.
Why they attend: This audience is looking for expert strategies and best practices in school legal and financial audit guidelines, admissions and marketing, government relations and leadership, and the latest product services.

- An intimate gathering of table top displays within the General Session allows members to interact with School Owners, while being a part of the all-important agenda so you don’t miss a thing!
- Partner Members’ presence at this event insures to our school owners that they have an invested interest in their plight
- Interactive sessions on topics key to the future of beauty and wellness education
- Important updates from your GRC Committee
- Networking and relationship opportunities virtually begin when members arrive and do not end until Hill Day (this includes meals, sessions, cocktail parties and Hill Day).
- The culmination of the Leader Summit will be a day spent on Capitol Hill where we will come face to face with members of Congress and their staff to discuss the critical issues facing our students and the schools that serve them. There are a very limited number of table tops available for this event. The deadline to register is February 9. If you miss the deadline or tables are sold out, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on a waiting list.
If additional tables become available, they will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis, with Select Partners (Partnership Agreements) receiving priority to purchase first.
With your Table Top Purchase – One (1) 6′ table top, two (2) participant badges and two (2) Hill Day registrations are included. The included registration gives full access to the Leader’s Summit and Hill Day (including all Sessions, Meals, and Activities).
If you have more than two (2) people attending the Summit and/or Hill Day, please register your additional participants below at a discounted attendee price of $275.00 (for Summit) and $150.00 (for Hill Day).
Note: Due to the security standards set forth by the Omni Shoreham and AACS, we need a complete list of all persons attending. Please ensure ALL names are provided when registering. NO ONE will be admitted without a valid name badge.
Monday, April 9
Check-in / Set-up | 1:00p – 4:00p OR 5:30p – 7:00p Please check in and receive your name badge and table assignment at the AACS Registration Area located in Blue Pre-function. All set-up must take place during these times.
Exhibits will be set up in the Blue Room located on the main level of the Omni to the east of the main lobby. Since Exhibits for this event are limited to table tops only, no pallets will be allowed. Load in is easiest from the Conference East Entrance (hand carts are recommended if you have a sizable load).

Tuesday, April 10

Tear-down | 1:30p – 2:30p OR 5:30p – 7:00p (after the Hill Day Training is complete) Sorry, no other tear-down times are available due to the format of Summit/Hill Day Education Sessions.
Table tops will be standard 6’ (72 inch X 30 inch) banquet style tables with a brown linen and two (2) chairs.
All décor, and display items must be able to fit on top or immediately in front of our table top (not to the sides). There shall be no additional display allowance on the sides of our table.
Exhibit Times: Table Top Displays shall be set up in the General Session Room, where most sessions are held. Therefore all hours will be open for exhibitor networking. Breaks and Meals will be primary business times, however, attendees will have time throughout the entirety of the Summit to visit your displays. Because of this, there is no table top tear-down outside of stated times. During educational sessions, It is recommend that you choose seating near your table top while you experience the sessions, this way, should an attendee choose to visit your booth, you are close by.
April 12 – It is vitally important that our partners join us for Hill Day. This is a unique opportunity to meet face to face with your elected officials so they can hear firsthand how education laws and regulations not only effect schools and students, the short and long term effects on the Professional Beauty and Wellness Industry, as well as the impact on all of those industries that support beauty and wellness.
We need your story to be shared – We encourage every partner to have representation at Hill Day.
If you (and/or your team members) will be attending Hill Day, please specify that when registering and when sending name badge lists. AACS will be assisting with the scheduling of meetings with your legislators. Please confirm who is attending Hill Day (and indicate where they live) so we can confirm the proper meetings (to be held on Thursday April 12). Note: Special training sessions will take place on Wednesday, April 11 in order to help you and your team prepare for Hill Day.

April 9 – An optional Legal Workshop will be held for for an additional fee. If you would like to participate in a full day session with Edward Cramp, AACS Legal Counsel and the Duane Morris team of experts, please register early (space is limited to the first 35 people only). Employment Law as well as other key legal issues will be discussed. The value of this much time with a lawyer (or team of lawyers in this case) is over $1,500 – AACS Member Price: $225.00.
